You do not need a doctor's referral, however:

  Your medical/surgical history and list of current medications are 

   useful, so please bring this information to your appointment

  Some Private Health Insurance policies require a doctor's date of 

   referral and provider number to process rebates (check claim 

   requirements with your insurer)

   Enhanced Primary Care referrals must be received in advance via 

   fax or email
